Today, 47 million French voters vote for their President of the 5th Republic. The 66,500 polling stations have been open since 8 am until 7 pm and 8 pm in the big cities. This is a decisive moment choice between Marine Le Pen (Front National) and Emmanuel Macron (En Marche).

The 47 million French will vote today on Sunday, May 7, in the second round of the presidential election.àto choose between Emmanuel Macron (Centrist, candidate of "En Marche" or Marine Le Pen, Far Right, candidate for "Front National".
Marine Le Pen has gone this morning to vote Henin Beaumont (City of 25 000 inhabitants in the North of France, Pas de Calais) directed by the Front National. Meanwhile Emmanuel Macron, voted in the city of Le Touquet ( 4500 Inhabitants in the North of France, Pas de Calais) directed by Les Republicains. For the French, the 66,500 polling stations opened at 8 am this morning in metropolitan France. They will close for the overwhelming majority at 7 pm; Only a few in large cities will remain open until 8 pm. In the United States, from the jet lag, the French installed in the US voted yesterday Saturday May 6, in the 63 polling stations. From the Emmanuel Macron's side, the esplanade of the Louvre can accommodate up to 10,000 people, whereas, the "Chalet du Lac" can not receive more than 1,400 guests. But in case of a frontistic victory, the festival could be spread in the Bois de Vincennes.
