On the occasion of the second edition of the international colloquium of the Higher Institute of Sport and Physical Education (ISSEP Ksar Said), Professor Wissam Sheikli, President of the International Federation of Sports Sciences, London was invited to attend this colloquium which was held in Tunis under the supervision of both Ministries of Youth and Sports and the Higher Education and Scientific Research in Tunisia. The opening ceremony was attended by the State Sports Secretary Imad Jabri and the Youth and Sports Delegate of Nabeul.
Professor Wissam Sheikli praised the high scientific level proved in the colloquium and thanked its President Dr. Riadh Khalifa and its Vice President Dr. Sabri Nassib for their effective and distinguished role in providing the opportunity for young researchers in the field of sports while developing networks with their local and international counterparts and in boosting researchers´ scientific skills.
More than 300 participants, researchers and lecturers of highest levels in all fields (biological sciences, humanities and social sciences) from Arab countries such as Algeria, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Palestine, Qatar, and foreign countries - France, Britain, Croatia and Italy - participated in the international colloquium of the Issep Ksar.
Dr. Sabri Nassib, an adjunct professor at the Higher Institute of Sport and Physical Education at ISSEP Ksar Said and Vice-President of the Colloquium, said that cooperation agreements have been concluded in the field of sports science with the International Federation of Sports Sciences of London, the International Academy of Sports Medicine in London and various scientific laboratories from France, Canada and Croatia.
