FULL EXT OF THE JOINT STATEMENT : FRANCE UK AND GERMANY--------------------------------------------------------
"It is clear to us that Iran bears the responsibility for this attack. There is no other plausible explanation. We support ongoing investigations to get all the details. These attacks have been directed against Saudi Arabia, but they affect all countries and increase the risk of major conflict. They recall the importance of collective efforts to promote stability and regional security, including finding a political solution to the ongoing conflict in Yemen. The attacks also underscore the need for de-escalation in the region, through continued diplomatic efforts and engagement with all parties. In this regard, we recall our continued commitment to the JCPoA approved with Iran on July 14, 2015, and endorsed unanimously by the United Nations Security Council. We once again urge Iran to reverse its decisions to reduce compliance with the agreement, and to fully adhere to its obligations. We call on Iran to cooperate fully with the IAEA in the framework of JCPoA and its Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement.Recognizing the importance of collective efforts to ensure regional stability and security, we reiterate our conviction that the time has come for Iran to agree to a long-term framework for its nuclear program, as well as regional security issues, which include its missile programs and other vectors.-------------------------------------------------------------------
We are determined to continue our diplomatic efforts to create the conditions for and facilitate dialogue with all partners interested in de-escalating tensions in the Middle East, in the interest of preserving international peace and security, the basis of our declaration of 14 July 2019 and the conclusions of the G7 adopted in Biarritz. We call on Iran to engage in such a dialogue and to refrain from further provocation and escalation." SOURCE : ELYSEE ADMINISTRATION
