OCCITANIA IS THE 1ST REGION IN FRANCE TO ADOPT A GREEN BUDGET------------------------------------------------ The Region’s initial 2020 budget stands at 3.53 billion euros, and includes 1.24 billion investments. Focused on a balanced development of the territory and the quality of life of the inhabitants of Occitania, it ensures the improvement of daily life and prepares for the future. In order to objectively assess its commitment to climate transition, the Occitania Region is the first in France to set up, from 2021, a rigorous classification of its expenditure.
